I read Brynne Weaver’s Scythe and Sparrow so you might not have to.
It is a dark romance between motorcycle stunt rider/vigilante, Rose Evans, and small-town doctor, Fionn Kane.
Rose is secretly “the Sparrow,” a woman who rescues others from abusive men and isn’t afraid to get her hands bloody. During one of these missions, Rose gets injured and ends up in the care of Fionn, who has his own history of violence and pain despite taking an oath to heal.
They fall in love through caretaking, letters, and a lot of morally gray choices. If you like your romance dark, messy, and stitched together with found family and tarot cards, then this is for you.
This contains spoilers if you want to read the book, but only the main parts because I brushed over a lot of minor details that legit make the book what it is (if I talked about everything, this would have been a lot longer).
