In this episode, I narrate the events of the book I read last week (Mon- Sun), which was the last book of the Windy City Series by Liz Tomforde, Rewind It Back. Then I discuss my thoughts and personal review
Rewind It Back is a second chance romance between searching-for-love Hockey star, Rio De Luca and his ex-girlfriend turned Interior Designer, Hallie Hart.
Hallie grew up next door to Rio in Boston, sharing rooftop secret talks, birthday playlists, and the kind of friendship that easily slipped into young love. They fell hard at sixteen, then at twenty, everything shattered.
Six years later, Hallie is in Chicago as an interior design intern. Fate intervenes when she unknowingly moves in next door to Rio. Worse yet, he hires her to transform his bachelor pad into a family-ready home.
As Hallie renovates Rio’s home, their relationship undergoes a parallel rebuild, but can they overcome miscommunications, past trauma, and self-doubt to rediscover safety and trust?
This contains spoilers if you want to read the book but only the main parts because I brushed over a lot of minor details that legit make the book what it is (if I talked about everything, this would have been a lot longer).
